Did Tripp fill in the milled  slot on the right side? It looks good.

No Sir, He just "shaved" it.
The mill mark was too deep to salvage any of the HK markings but I actually think it turned better with out the markings..
I wish I could take better pics so y'all could all see the quality of Mr. Tripp's work.

Bookhound
I am free this weekend if you want to meet up and shot a few rounds this weekend.

I think a Hard-Chromed P7M8 is just about one of the prettiest guns ever.  You're a lucky man.

Here are Mr. Tripp's Hard Chrome Prices
Mine cost a little more than $205
Complete H&K $175
Mags $15 X 2 $30
All of it well spent IMO

It took 14 days round trip, most are done in 10 days but my slide needed a lot of work.
I did have to spend about $80 bucks in shipping for 2 overnight shipments.

Be prepared to deal with silly FedEx folks who think you can NOT ship a weapon with out a FFL.
It's a "repair" so it is legal

I highly suggest giving them a call at (432)837-9445 before shipping
They actually answer the phone.
Bookhound saw the P7 today so he can tell you more about Mr. Tripp's work than my lousy picture can.
