| This was just brought to my attention by my sister. One of her ex b/f's from a while back had given her a pistol for protection. She doesn't know where he got it from and is scared about it so she gave it to me. She had told me that she didn't want me to keep it either because he was kind of a shady character. My question is, is there a way i can check on the serial number to see if this pistol is stolen or is legal? Or do i need to contact a local leo to check it out for me? I don't want to get caught with a stolen weapon, but if it's legal, i'll keep it for her. Any info or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. |
