I need a recommendation from my ARFCOM brethren.  I'm in need of getting a plumber to go take a look at one of my aunt's rental houses which is leaking from one of the exterior water pipes.  Unfortunately, there are like 50 listed in the phone book and none seem to stand out.  Any recommendations/suggestions/warnings?

TIA

What part of Atlanta?

What is leaking, supply line to house, or waste line to street?

Does the house have that gray polybuteline crap that was used in the 80's?  If so, you may have more than 1 leak.

Dunno, that's why I need it checked out

Dunno, but probably, and I need someone that knows what they are looking at to assess it, which is why I need a reliable company that won't BS me.

Ghost,

Superior Plumbing has always done a good job on my house......just not on my wallet. Must be "Black Gold" in them pipes.

Roto-Rooter did an excellent job at my place. FAST service, friendly people, professionalism in callbacks and call-before-arrival. Fixed the job right the first time, and gave a short (6 month?) warranty...

... but devlishly expensive. It made me wonder why I work so cheap.

The only one I have ever had any experience with is Gene's Plumbing located in East Point / College Park. They have been in business close to 50 years and have always treated me good. I don't think Norcross is any problem for them. I just purchased a renovation house in an up and coming local East Point neighborhood and had to have them make a Saturday after hours call on the house and hell they only charged their normal / regualr hour rates.

Also they aren't a small operation, they have a fairly large fleet and handle commercial as well as residental.
