I have a question, I got my niece into ar's and is starting pistol shooting, what are the licensing requirements in your state for pistol permits, or rifles, thanks for the help she is moving to Atlanta sometime in October, thanks |

There are no licensing requirements to purchase, own, or sell all handguns and long guns. As long as your niece is over 21 and not a felon, she can possess whatever she desires. Concealed carry permits are fairly easy to obtain here: just go to the probate court, fill out some paperwork, pay the fees and she's good to go. CCW permits here last 5 years, and allow a person to buy firearms without having to submit to the NCIS background check and its associated fees. I, for one, extend a warm welcome to your niece to the great state of Georgia (even if she is a Yankee  )BTW, is she single?

Licenses? We don't need no steenking licenses! I just applied for my CCW permit. Cost $52 including parking. Good for a long time, and no background check when purchasing a firearm. Everyone at the courthouse and the sherrif's office was cool about it. Now must buy CCW gun. |

First I would like to say that it is not THAT bad living down here. It does have its good points and NOT so good points. Just like every other city.(Newark Nj for exaple) Once the kids are out of the house. SEE YA. This hillbilly is heading out west (i hope). If not back to the hills of WVa. Just one comment. West Virginia delcared and was granted its indepence on June 20, 1863 from the evil state of Virginia. Like I stated earlier. I'm a Yankee, I'm just visiting. For now. But if you check you history.
