I have a Works .wdb file that I need converted to anything else. Well, any real office format. Microsoft says to save it from Works...if I had Works I wouldn't need to convert it...sheesh!

Can anyone help?

MS Access should open it for you.

I don't think you will be able to change it.  If someone on here has works you can send it to them and they can open it up.  Then you have to save it as a different type of file.   But the only thing that might open it is notepad.  Good luck

Looks like you do need a copy of Works to convert it.

Hey Byte,

I do have the works install program, if you can't find anyone to open it, let me know.

ar-wrench, I may take you up on that, gotta see how important it is to convert the file. It is for my Dad.

gilfrd, I get Office XP from work, but thanks. We have Office 2003 for 'test' but I haven't installed it yet.

I do have an older version of Works, I just have an aversion to install it. yuck.

Thanks all!
