Anyone applied for a purchase permit lately - in the process of getting my Concealed, and bought a few permits for the interim.

It's been almost 8 weeks - they've obviously well exceeded the 14 days....anyone gotten one recently and want to share the turn around.

I'm pretty sure it varies by county. What county are you in?

LOL - that info probably would have helped wouldn't it?

Mecklenburg - which I expected to be longer, but didn't think it would take 2 months.

I was in the same situation as you were.  I applied for PPP while awaiting the CCP to arrive.

I actually have a thread on it somewhere in the forum here.

The PPP wait time for me in Meck was exactly 30 days.
The CCP was 4-4.5 months IIRC.

The time between my PPP and CCP arriving was spent taking combative pistol classes.

Can't help on the PPP, but my CHP (in Meck) renewal was recently approved.

Submitted 4/7
Notified of approval 8/2
...and when I went to pick it up, it was actually dated 7/18

(Would've been nice to have been called when it was approved, as old one expired 7/22...I could carry with the expired permit, but not purchase)

That's crazy, in Cumberland County my PPP gets approved in about 12 hours
