Well my birthday royally sucked as the best man I ever known a former Marine and Navy Veteran Died in front of me today. My Father.
Wayne M. Bartels, Sr. April 5th 1938 - October 2nd 2011 11:12 am.  
I got home in Indiana and went right to the hospital to see him die right before my eyes and not able to do a thing. |

WTF is wrong with some people these days. I went to visit my cousin whom I haven't seen in 3 years and you would not believe the condition she was in her sons are suppose to be caring for her well being and finances as she has had 5 strokes and can no longer care for herself anymore. one lives with her and the other is in charge of her finances as in her disability checks. she looked like a street bum who has not had a bath in 6 months open sores and lice infestation from hell. the wife and i took her out of the house as she was alone with no supervision as she is barley mobile no phone in the house to call for help if she needed it. Stacy took her to our room and bathe her and we also bought new clothes for her to wear. She called the preacher who will be doing my fathers services to see what to do with her and he said to take her to the hospital to have her evaluated. She will not be going back there now as they reported her sons to protective services fer Elderly abuse and social services will be putting her in a proper care facility. She did not even know what month day or year it was or where we were at. They will have to cut all or her hair off because it was that bad. She is only 4 months younger than me and she looks older then her mother who is in her late 70's. I just lost a parent and this is how they treat theirs they are lucky that they were not at home when I got there the one son was out cashing her check he just got for her. Sorry for the rant but this just burns me up!!!!
