In Onslow county, not sure of others they now input your info on the spot electronically and do all the background checks while you wait... took approx 30 minutes... knew that day when to come pick up the permit. (one week )
Well, going on 3 weeks now... Maybe I was premature??? I went in the following week, was told "We now call you when they come in" 3 weeks and a few days now, no call yet... One of the Sheriff deputies I know I brought it up to... he said the guy also does missing persons and all the fingerprinting... And we do have a missing person, Actually one of my Daughter-in-Law's friend from school. |
