I got a new one that I put up this year.  Down in one of our hay fields by the creek.  I was just curious what kind of stuff walks down by that fence at night.  Haven't had much luck over the past month or so down there, so I think it'll get moved sometime this week.

Could someone from SC please explain something to me?  I grew up in the upper-midwest where baiting deer was illegal.  So... can someone please explain to me where the sport is in this type of "hunting"?  The way I understand it, you throw out corn all year and then one day shoot the deer that come to their feeding spot, isn't this about as much sport as going to a feed lot and shooting cattle.  To me, and this is just my opinion, this is about as close to shooting fish in a barrel as it comes.

So growing miles and miles of corn is not the same thing?

HA!!!!  Are you serious???

To answer your question, see if you can spot the deer in this "bait station" and tell me (BTW it's illegal to hunt in an unharvested field):

The deer already move in that area, I just put out corn to get a picture.
