| I am on vacation and wanted to know if there was a gun shop close by worth checking out? |
|
There is the Myrtle Beach Indoor Shooting Range, and a Bass Pro Shop.

I'm on vacation in MB, too, until Saturday.
I went to Bass Pro and didn't find any plinking ammo. They had plenty of Golden Saber in .45 for $30 and Remington UFC .223 for $10 and 5.7 for $21.99. Had a fine selection of firearms but I didn't see any type of black rifle, offhand.
I was glad I went anyway despite the long ride from the south side of MB. The size of the place is purely amazing Excuse me if I'm blubbering but my small town doesn't have a BP Shop. I'd like to know if the pawn shop on 3rd Ave S is worth visiting on my way out? |

I always go to the Myrtle Beach Indoor Shooting Range (www.MBISR.com). They've got a pretty good selection and a 25 yard range. There is also the Hammer Down Gun Shop, which is relatively new, across from Freestyle Music Park (Formerly Hard Rock Park), but I've never been there. You can also check out Dicks Pawn Shops for an occasional deal. There's one at 544 & Bus 17, one on 501 at Carolina Forest and one on 17 in North Myrtle. Typically their prices are high, but you can work them down. Regarding ammo, just like every place else, it's hard to come by. Rumor is that Walmart is getting a shipment in tonight with some 9mm, 45 and possibly .223. |
