I'm currently located near Liberty and am looking for a quality class to fulfill the requirement for the CCW permit. I guess I'm looking for a class in the area that has real substance to it.

My girlfriend and I did ours at Caliber's (www.calibers.net). Nice people and you get 5 months of free range time for taking their course. It's a one day course at Gander Mountain and I think they have started 2 day evening classes.

Great place to shoot and great people.

+1...Calibers offers a great CCW class. Just be prepared to sit through some overly "exciting" videos. I mean...WOW!!! Lots of good action scenes like the guy who went to a bar while carrying a concealed weapon and then shot a man in the parking lot

Check out Handgunners in Alamance Co. Good guys, good class. They're on 49S, not far from Liberty but going up towards Burlington.
