OK, so I have a few suppressors and an SBR all transfered on a RLT.  I recently found an outstanding deal on a MAC 10.45acp full-auto with a Gemtech Viper can and bought it.

My question is this.  I know my CLEO (Sheriff) has to sign off on the MG transfer Form 4 but I'm curious as too what questions he may ask.  I'm already a CCW permit holder and have NFA items...should I tell him I'm no newbie to NFA as I already have silencers and an SBR?  Or will he maybe percieve that as going behind his back?  Should I go in uniform as I'm active duty Marine Corps or do you think that will hinder the situation?

Any help will be appreciated.

Sheriff Brown is very interesting in this sense.
I had 3 guns stolen from me in January.
When I went to apply for some pistol purchase permits and talked with him, he wanted me to write down the serial and description of every gun I owned.
I've talked to some people and they say he's anti NFA.
I beleive a friend of mine used his RLT for the M16 he bought last year.. Pwned by saturnstyl

You cannot use a trust for MG's.

Sorry to sound like a total n00b, but can you elaborate on this, please?

If I understand it correctly your Sheriff has to sign off on a Machine Gun Permit. I have the Willmaker software and need some pointers on setting up a trust myself.

So going the trust route is only good for SBR, suppressors, etc.?  Just not auto guns?

Is there any law that states this?

Dunno.
