Which one of you guys in the Hickory area accidentally shot yourself in the foot today while pocket carrying a S&W 40?  Heard it on the scanner today, the dispatcher even managed to keep from laughing when the responding deputy asked if the gun was now secure, the dispatcher reported that "the calling party said the gun was no longer in one piece.." He later clarified that the "clip" was in the mobile home and the gun was back in his pocket...... I had a mental image of a guy shooting his own foot and giving the pistol a power slam to the concrete.
