Beautiful day for shooting.  Flies were kinda thick at times, saw a tick try to hitchhike in to my car.  Otherwise, you just about couldn't get a better day.  Of course everyone else thinks so also, so range space was quickly filled.  We got a pistol pit, and had a great time.  Me and Lex with .45s, and Assult Rifler with a 9mm.  A.R. was also shooting an M1 Carbine that I absolutely fell in love with.

Then along came another Arfcommer, who brought NFA toys.  Fully automatic, suppressed toys.  The kind that make you happy when you see the safety switch flipped around backwards.  I got to shoot an AR in .22 and .223 calibers, suppressed and not suppressed.  I also got to shoot a grease gun in full auto.  It is a riot!!!  The fact that you can empty a magazine in seconds is amazing....
If there is a way, I shall have one!!!

Then is was off to the 100yd range.  I brought out my A2 and actually hit the target a few times with iron sights!!!!  The target being about a 12"x6" rectangle piece of steel.
There was a bench rest guy there shooting some old stuff that was really loud, making notes in his notebook....  didn't look like much fun to me.

Thanks again guys, I had a great time and always look forward to the next trip!

It was fun out there today and nice to put another ARFCOM face w/ a name.

When Deuce shows up w/ the Full Auto toys...the smiles begin!

Thanks for the invite AR!!

I got dehydrated and sunburned as usual, but looks like the 2+ hours cleaning my carbine paid off.  Got to test my 9mm test loads so I can crank up the Dillon 650 again.  I need to do the 100 yard range more often.  The NFA items were a blast as well!
