what are the requirements and the best way to ship a firearm? I know I need to have a signed copy of an FFL from the location that I am going to ship to but how do I actually ship it. Do I just pack it up in a box and walk into the Post Office or do I just take it to the UPS/Fedex? What is best way to ship with the least amount of hassle? Thanks Peter3 |

Just to save yourself, well...the buyer, some trouble, make sure that the receiving FFL will accept transfers from an individual (i.e. non-FFL). Also check and see if he needs a copy of your DL or anything like that for his log. Some guys get a little picky. ![]() CHRIS |

Thanks for the quick answers. So pretty much I make sure the place and am mailing the weapon to is a FFl, I pack the weapon up, and go to the post office. I didn't want to walk in the post office with a weapon in a box only to find out it was not legal to do. Thanks again Peter3 |
