Yes, NC is an open carry state, but some counties/cities do not allow open carry.

Salisbury does not allow open carry, for example.

What about Mooresville?
I have heard that they allow it.
But have not seen with my own eyes?

I dont know about mooresville.....gotta be careful that you dont get charged with Going armed to the terror of the public.
Down there all you would have to do is let someone see you walking around with a gun on your hip and I am sure someone would be terrified!!

There is more that goes into getting charged with "going Armed...." than someone just seeing you with a weapon.
