| ATF said no more forms approved with investment or collection. Research and development was ok. This is for a suppressor, just had one approved in Aug with investment & collection on in. So I will wait a little longer with my fingers crossed. |

Deuce03, I always put “Research, Scientific Experimentation and all legal uses” on my Form 4's. Since 99 or 2000 it has to be this way due to some fool that sued a sheriff and got the rest of us screwed. To get a Form 4 approved for a Machine Gun in NC you have to put that and send a copy of your NC Machine Gun permit from the sheriff or it will get kicked back. When I got mine I wrote an entire Research proposal with test procedures, equipments lists, data sheets, and so on to cover myself and the sheriff. I have actually used the proposal and done some of the research using the data sheets. Those were the sheets that were being filled out when we were at SSI... |
