I live in the Durham and I think I want to get a class III .22 suppressed pistol, probably a walther P22 or sig .22. My dealer told me that it's going to be a really hard sell to get the sherif to approve it. Any of you had any experience?

I have always heard that (and this is coming from a Durham cop) that its a , but I guess you can always give it a try

I dont live there and do not have any first hand knowledge on this but from what I have read its hard enough to get a CCW from the durham sheriff so getting a sign off is not going to happen.
