Gun safe ? > North Carolina

OK I'm getting ready to get a bigger/better safe.

I have looked at 2 Cannon safes and due to the area I have to put it in it cannot be over 37 inchs from corner to oppisite corner wide.So basically it will be 22x30x60.
Got to fit it in a closet door and then turn it.
It weights approx. 550 lbs.
Just how hard is it to move one of these bad boys?No steep steps to go up.Just a small stoop.
Any experts wanna help?

One place will loan me a hand truck to use for the move.(GUN RACK)K-Ville

If the "hand truck" is an appliance dolly with the extra set of wheels that allow you to lay the safe back and a strap that goes around the safe, the job won't be too much trouble for 2 men in reasonably good shape. The last safe my neighbor and I moved was a 750# Liberty that went down a flight of steps on a dolly. Heavy and cumbersome? Yes. More than we could handle? Almost

Have beer ready for your moving help. That usually makes the move easier.

I've got 16 long neck Miller Highlifes in the fridge

and another 8 I think, under the sink.
I've got a friend who works at the brewery.

I'll have to see how far we get on the closet.It should be done first of the week.

I'll most likely get the safe from GUN RACK and use his handtruck.
I'm also going to try and borrow the company van. It's lower to the ground.
