i know a pistol purchase permit can be used to purchase multiple long guns as long as they're all purchased at the same time, but what i'm wondering is can i purchase a pistol and multiple long guns all on the same permit?

thanks

A single pistol and multiple long guns, yes.  Keep in mind, that if you buy a specified number of firearms at one time the FFL is required to notify the ATF.  Can't remember what the specified number is, but I believe it's 3.

Get yourself a CCW permit, and don't worry about it anymore.

Thanks for the reminder ... I totally forgot about the multiple firearms stuff. More than likely, it will just be one of each.

I should have gotten a CCW when I first got stationed here ... now I can't really justify it with only a couple months left.

Thank you again for the info

Correct me if I'm wrong.
You don't need a "permit" for long guns.
I don't know about multiply purchases...I have a hard enough time buying one at a time.

Nope, don't need a permit. But I want to get it to alleviate any hassle at the dealer. Also, I it's only a slight PITA compared to what I have to go through on base
