Around June, I made a post about my brothers business being destroyed by a tornado, and asked for thoughts and prayers from the MOHTF while he tried to rebuild the business he built from the ground up that was his family's sole source of income.

Well the prayers seem to be working!!!

He recently closed on a 50k sq/ft facility that he will hopefully have up and running by early next year.  He still has some work to do framing out offices and warehouse space and a lot of electrical to run, but at least he has his stuff back under one roof mostly.

The storm managed to spare heavy damage to the expensive new Mazak CNC mills he bought just prior to the tornado.

Several manual lathes and mills suffered heavy damage and will need to be replaced.  Also several motorcycles were injured severely, including my dads 1949 Panhead that my brother and dad built together.  I think my dads bike being damaged hurt my brother the most.

For reference, my dads bike is laying under the wall and steel exterior sign that is toppled over and laying on the left side of this picture:

But with the tragedy comes rebuilding that will be bigger and better than before.

One of the things that will be added to the new shop is a 5 axis CNC waterjet machine.  The new machine will be able to cut 12"+ of AR500 plate!  So if anyone needs targets, I will probably be able to have some good pricing for them once the machine is up and running!

This is a shot of one corner of the building while we are trying to figure out where to place everything:

My brother owns two companies that operate in the same facility.  One is a full service machine shop, and the other is a custom motorcycle manufacturer.  So if you need the services of either, let me know.

All I can say is God works in mysterious ways, and thanks to all of the members of the MOHTF who said a prayer or sent good thoughts my brothers way in his time of need!

If your brother is still up in Hawk Point and is in need of a great electrician and CNC repair guy. A co-worker just got layed off this past week. He lives up in H.P. and his name is Gary Striebel. I dont have a phone number but I might be able to come up with one if your brother caint find it.

Glad too see your Brother is able to over come this tragedy and is able to push on and get his business up and rolling again...  Many folks would have just rolled over and gave up...

Let us know when the water jet gets up and running and a list of prices for plates...  I'm always looking and I'd rather support local than online...

I know Brian and his brother, Big Paulie, and they are both talented artists in their own right.  Brian has put together several AR platforms guns for me and I've watched his brother build some awesome choppers.  If anyone is looking for machine work or a great custom build m/c you won't go wrong.
