I am in y'all's state this weekend and went out to the gun range at the finger lakes near Columbia. I will be going again tomorrow. Fantastic range, and the price is right. I wish Texas would build something in this vein to encourage folks to shoot more.

Glad you had a good time and made it out safely. If I didn't have other stuff to do I would take you out to Green Valley in Hallsville. This. I don't mind shooting there if it's pretty empty but sometimes it can definitely be pretty scary there. But it does have nice stuff for the price! |
| I've been hit with a ricochet at Finger Lakes, never again will I set foot at that place....... Sweeping is the least of your concerns. People shooting on your range, while your down range is more on par. F**K that place. Check out Wetstone, Its a drive, but much much much safer. |

Glad you had a good time and made it out safely. If I didn't have other stuff to do I would take you out to Green Valley in Hallsville. Last year, we arrived there at around 7am the day of a 3 Gun Match in order to make sure rifles were on. We were pretty much alone. 
I keep my wife and kids away from firing ranges if at all possible, so private land is preferred. |
