It is official, I am going to become a westsider......... Moving from St Charles to Nevada. Will be quite a change. Any one on here live around there?

I don't live in Nevada, but I have had to go there many times for work. Welcome to the middle of nowhere.

I'm near Garden City which is around 50-60 miles from there---I think.

Good luck. The only thing I know about Nevada is the county jail when I dropped or pick up a guy or two there.

I'm pretty far south, but I believe that they have their share of users. Other wise not too bad of a town.

And I forgot to mention that most people around here pronounce it Ne-vade-uh, so you don't sound like a complete outsider.

Retire, no, she will be the new President of Cottey College. I am the one who is retired. Max, we will have to try to go shooting one more time before we leave the first of June..............

We have a few acres East of Nevada that we visit on the weekends. It is a nice area to get away from the city.

Yes, I knew that you retired per your voice message. Just thought that she might have retired too. Dang did your rob the cradle? LOL Yes I would like to go shooting one more time before you relocated. Hence the reason for asking about when this was going to happen, the relocating that is.

I was there once, chasing down an order. If I remember correctly there is a gun store on the main street with a museum on the second level. Should be a firearms friendly community.

Thank you, to those that responded. We have lived in the St Charles area for 20+ years, so big change coming up. Will be closer to Kansas City........ Joplin South of there and Kansas border real close..............I have met a lot of good people on the East side.......Thanks again..
