| What would your opinion be on a civi dash cam, good or bad idea? Could capture an accident that was no fault of your own, someone's road rage, or could also be thrown against you for doin donuts in a parking lot. Lol. Just curious what your guys' opinion was from a LE standpoint. Tia. |

I've thought about getting one with all the accidents we work but haven't done it yet. |

Knock yourself out. Remember though, what do you want it for? If its for accidents, I'll take whatever video you want to share at time of report. Road rage? Depends. Are you going to follow them so as to keep recording? If so, don't tell the officer the guy was driving at high rates of speed and weaving in and out of traffic and then produce the video that shows you were doing the same thing (to keep them in the frame) As far as does it piss LEO's off? Not really. Personally I could care less.
