Have you posted on the main GD board.  They've got a great record on dog adoptions.

I am sorry about you having to rehome the dog, but glad that you are taking this route rather than dumping him at a shelter.

Is he house trained? Is he good with other dogs? Is he good with cats ?

Thanks. He is an awesome companion. We will be sad to see him go, but it is the best move for him.

I may try that, thanks for the heads up. Most definitely would never consider a shelter.

He is house trained, also kennel trained on command. Although he has no issue being outside. (also loves to swim!) He is good with other dogs, but is very submissive to them. Meaning if you have aggressive dogs, it will take some time to warm up to them (as far as playing goes - there is zero aggression, he takes the high road)

Cats, no idea....I cant imagine any issue, but we don't have one.
