I was leaving Ameristar Casino in St. Charles and there were about 10 St. Charles police cars. There were six or seven officers at the main door by valet, and another 4 or 5 by the seafood place. A couple had wood batons and several had the white flex cuffs.
I asked a security guard I knew and was told they had reports of protestors heading into the area. When I left there was a group of about 15 to 20 people at the beginning of the bridge/entrance into the casino. Not sure what was going on, and didn't want to stick around and see? Anyone hear any reports of anything? |
| They have started hitting Walmarts trying to shut them down, they apparently went to the one in Maplewood and some other one but the article wouldn't load for me. Facebook buzz says they wanted to shut down the casino but were run off before they could "organize" themselves. Apparently been in St. Chuck all morning...there goes my trip to Bass Pro |
