Greetings. Meet Roscoe. He came to us last November and due to the cold weather, we fed him and took him in. He's been with us since and has sort of adopted us.
Now, due to changing circumstances, he needs a new home.
Supposing he's a black lab mix (rott? shepard?) and roughly 60lbs or so. Very docile and good with kids. Shy of other dogs until he gets adjusted.
We've kept him as an outside dog but it's just time he finds a new home. He'd make a great farm dog.
I can deliver him a short distance away and we've got I-44 traveling through Springfield, Mo which is my nearest metro area. Springfield, Mo is an hour and half East of the Oklahoma State line; roughly 2.5 hours South of KC MO and approx 3 hours West of STL.
We spent $200 on vet bills to bring him back to good health earlier this spring. We've also got worm pills and frontline that we'd give up with him.
I don't want to think of the alternatives but he's gotta go.
Anybody need a good ol farm dog-this is you!
Thanks for looking

If you end up at crunch time and have nowhere for the pooch to go, call WECARE (Webster County Animal Rescue). Two of my three dogs came from them. 417-859-2456
