Ok, I need some help on my next purchase. I've narrowed it down to two choices. I'd be happy with either, just looking for thoughts. Just for fun, no real purpose other than shooting.

9mm AR or .357 revolver and a .357 lever action rifle

9mm ARs are fun but I don't own one.  I do have a .357 lever action carbine and it's a great little gun.

Depends ... if the .357 is a Taurus, then buy the AR instead.

I'd do the lever gun and SA revolver except for me it would be 45lc.

Trying to stick with calibers I already have, but I understand that choice.

I don't have a 38/357 Lever Gun... I do have a 45 Colt Revolver (s) and a 45 Colt Lever Gun (1892)

I also have a couple 9mm handguns and a couple 9mm Carbine Options.
Both AR based....

Well "Get Both"

I voted 9mm AR just because that's my next project...

Somewhere I have a pic of the Oly Pattern next to the Colt Pattern...

I voted for 9mm AR.  I just got a CMMG one and they are so fun to shoot.  Accurate and very little recoil.

.357 AR?

I'm on board for the .357 pair, especially if you reload. Cast .38s are so cheap and easy to reload. Last time I did the math I was reloading .38s for about $0.12 and the brass lasts forever. (158gr LRN over a light load of Trail Boss is a GREAT plinking round.)
