Any of you ever be in Wisconsin and tried Spotted Cow beer???

http://www.newglarusbrewing.com/index.cfm/beers/ourbeers/beer/spotted-cow

I've been up here all week in Training for work, the Hotel and all the restaurants have this stuff...  All the other folks that were in town with me were drinking it all week and raving about it.  We went out to one of the Steak houses and I tried one...  I really liked it, so I had several more and now wished I'd have started on them on Monday, vs my last night here....

Sadly, it seems they only distribute/sell it in Wisconsin, so I'll not be able to get it at home...

Never tried it but I've heard about it. There is a place in Illinois that carries it, I will have to do a little research to remember the name though. I used to hang out with some devout Packers fans and when they would go to WI they would stock up, but shortly before we parted ways they found this bar/restaurant something-or-other that sold it.

Fresh cheese curd and Spotted Cow was Friday Nights before we left Chicagoland.

A few of my coworkers love the stuff.  I tried it the last time I was in Madison and thought it was pretty good IIRC.

I have to stand corrected here, I did a search on their website for 100 miles from St. Louis and it said there were no results on buying any nearby. Also read an article how it was confiscated from a bar in NYC because it's not licensed to sell outside of WI, and the spokesman said they didn't plan on getting the license because they want to control their growth. Now that article was dated from 2009, so I don't know if anything had changed, and maybe the place in IL falls under the same category as the one in NYC. But from all the searches I did, it looks like if you want Spotted Cow, you gotta go back to WI...

New Glarus also has a brew called  "Totally Naked" that is really good. IMHO it's better than the polka-dotted bovine.
