Got my hands on a CMMG Mk3 that came with a single poly PMAG 20LR magazine. PMAG's seem to be backordered everywhere, but I can locate metal DPMS mags here and there that are for LR308. I have two basic questions:
1. Will the DPMS mags work? 2. If not, what is compatible? Honestly, there have to be options other than PMAG, right? Thanks in advance! |

A phone call to cmmg will clear up any questions , Im sure they will be happy to help you. |

1. you do not have an AR-10 - not unless it says armalite on the side of it
2&3. my REAL ar-10A takes the P-mags and every DMPS mag i have bought works, 2-20 rounders and one 5 round, i have not yet got a 10 rounder for it so it should work. but i can't say for 100% if it dont i'm sure you can easly sell it |

I don't know for sure this is right but I would be willing to say you can use larue obr mags since the obr can use that 308 play. A week or so ago they posted in the industry forum they were available again, don't know if they still are though Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Quoted: Not to start an argument, but the only REAL AR-10's are pictured below: http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q125/PursuitSS/805c3097d36dcf05ba7c4f8c8adc4f0e.jpg The current "Armalite" has Zero relation to the former Armalite, Division of Fairchild Aircraft. What is currently called an AR-10 has no parts compatibility to the originals.
