I've done the same thing to a nylon holster for a 22.   Poor people got poor ways right?

What's wrong with your waist band?

Speaking of, since this pistol is missing the ejector spring, I crafted one from a paperclip while I wait for the part to get here from Numrich.

That is a good little pistol. I CCW'd one for a year or so before I switched over to something even smaller/lighter.

I'm really liking 9x18 so far. Very, very fun to shoot

Dude, if you were local, I've got the hardware and the punches. Take all of a few minutes to make it "perty" and effective.

Oh, and I dearly love Powdered Toast Man. It might have been the only time Frank ever did voice acting.

What's local, to you?

I'm in the boonies, in Audrain.

Just slightly North of I-44 in the Queen City. 'Bout a mile or two from exit 80 (A or B) depending on which way you're traveling.

I used to due custom leather work, I still have some of the tools. Actually, I have all of the tools. We just can't manage to find the box with all of the materials. Only misplaced a few thousand in materials and supplies... But I know where the Chicago screws, punches, mallets, sets and gromits and such are at.

I just altered a Blackhawk three slotted holster, size 5, to let my M&P set down in it 1/4" further.

I cut the necessary factory thread away and re-sew using Fusion fishing line.

I removed the retaining straps, and threaded a loopbelt through the low slot so there's zero cant, and I have another AIWB set up that is completely separate from my pants... A lot like a belly band or a smartcarry. Added bonus is it is ambidextrous.

It's good to have some things separate from your pants. For instance, right now, I am separate from my pants. I love computers.
Usually with guns, pants are required. Only bad thing about them I can think of really.

Thanks. Not bad for an $8 'universal' holster and a couple minutes with a screwdriver, eh?

First, what sort of nonsense pistol has an ejector spring?

Second, you're carrying a weapon with said ejector spring made out of a paper clip?

I suppose this is the only pistol you own?

#1: Walther PP, PPK, PPK; FEG PA-63. The ejector also functions as a slide stop when the magazine runs empty. The spring holds it in the down position until the follower activates it when it runs empty.

#2: I've done worse, I carried a 1911 worked on by a certain now-banned individual with a dremel

#3: No. I also own a Beretta M9A1 that is too heavy to carry at work, and considerably harder to conceal while working.

Ah, I was picturing AR style ejector / ejector spring.

"This boy couldn't be that stupid, could he? "

Now I know what you mean.
