So you found a supply of.22lr then?

Looks awesome. With any luck, we should have the High Tower 9022 shell and a 10/22 to put in it by September.

What is the lower shell the receiver is setting in that appears to have an "S" on the side and what appears as an AR15 buffer extension tube?

I was excited to see it came with the entire tac-22 kit.  So if I want my daughter (who's left handed) to use the gun I can change out to the carbine stock and grip with one hex wrench.

Slidefire stock can then be used on any AR platform.

Volquartzen trigger pack can go in my silhouette gun.

To me the SAR-22 kit was a win/win.

If that was bump fire I would have been all over it.  Love the P-90 look.

I was lucky enough to scoop up 10k rounds of 36gr Champion from Cabela's on Black Friday last year.  Because of that I have been able to shoot in competition all winter, spring and into summer, in rimfire sports.  (Precision, Ruger Rimfire, NRA Silhouette, and NRA Action).   And have enough to have a little fun with this toy, and in time for the 4th.

Exactly... no desire to piss off .223, but .22 LR?  That's the only machine gun I've ever wanted anyway.

That is one of two items I am kicking myself for missing on Nov 25th,  the $315.99 1000 round boxes of .223 is the other.

Yup... I should have bought every box of AE .223 they had at $5.45 a box and applied my %20 coupon.  I only bought 2000 rounds at the time and was worried I had bought too much.

Not to be a jerk, but anytime I hear discussion around "wish id known, I would have...."

If you happen to have access to a time machine, go pop the little shits that started this situation...maybe like the week before they went all massacre-y.

Im  gonna go hug my 6 year old now.

No freeloading, I was able to score 975 rds of 22lr from the walmart app.  1 success in 87 tries.

So your saying anyone who is wishing for realistic ammo prices or lamenting over missing a good deal is dick for not first making a "First off my hearts go out to those who lost there lives in recent tragedies" statement?

Yeah, I agree.  That is how we know that time travel isn't possible, those events still happened.

I've taken advantage of having these last two months w/o work by spending time with my family.  Next week that ends, but time we spend together after then will be 'extra' fun.

Evilbetty- he isn't saying that at all.... If I am reading that correctly.

He is saying that we should be wishing we could have used the crystal ball to stop mad-men from killing innocents.

yup.  meant no criticism to the OP.

I've just heard several fellow shooters say "if i'd known!"  and I can't help but think how I wish someone who knew ahead of time would have drowned evil in a gunny sack.  Dept of Pre Crime style.

I am frustrated by the current market.  I have several friends that I think could be 3Gunning with us, but for want of inexpensive ammo.  And parts.  And mags.  and more ammo.

Sorry man.  I'm usually the last guy to start drama.  Back to your awesome new toy.

I have a 10/22 that has never been out of the box since purchase.  Bought it to build a 2nd Liberty Training Rifle for my boys.  Thanks for showing me another option!

Anyone have any suggestions for some good 4th of July targets for this thing?  Something that is fun to land multiple hits on?  Already plan on getting some fruit to hit.

Was at the hardware store looking for some wide thin lumber that could be "cut-in-half" on the clock to make a little game out of it.  Not so sure that is going to work though with the firing rate of this thing.

Open to other ideas.

That wasn't a bad deal if you gun cycles those.  The only gun we have that will is a Marlin 60.  Everything else chokes on them.
