I need some work done.  Looking for an arfcommer, or at least some good recommendations for a local company (Belton).

First up: need my main line rooted out.  Got tree roots in it.  Very possible that the roots aren't on my property, so I might need advice on how to deal with that.  I don't want to pull the typical arfcommer approach of having my lawyer contact them as the backhoe starts digging up their yard, ya know?    If it is on my lot, then I'll need advice/estimate on repairing the line.

Second, depending on how that all goes, I'm thinking I need a sump pump installed.  I've been getting flooded out every time it rains, and my little fish pond water pump seems to have given up the ghost.

Thanks!

Full Nelson Plumbing replaced our main sewer line. I always recommend them. They did a great job for much less than it would have cost elsewhere.

We've also had Truninger Bros. out of P. Hill run the main line before, also very pleased with them. They have the camera too, so they can look for any problems and tell you exactly where they're at. They definitely have good rates and service.

A sump pump is usually pretty DIY... cellar, crawlspace, slab? Dig hole, add pump, run drain line.

When I bought my house in '07, I had Caleb of Superior Plumbing install two sump pumps for me, one for ground water and one for gray water.  This involved jack-hammering two sump holes, installing the well liners and running all the needed pipes.  I was and am very pleased with his work.  816-985-1805

It seems like it.

however, I'm not sure if I have a sump pit.  Here's a pic of what I have.  Water definitely comes into this pit, but I don't have plumbing leading out of it....

And thanks for the recommendations, guys!  I'll give a few of them calls in a couple weeks.  (We're heading to the Pacific NW for a week of vacation in a couple days.  Hopefully the basement isn't an indoor pool when I get back!)

That's just a floor drain, you can put a pump in there but it would be best to cut the floor for a new pit basin so it can take the hydrostatic pressure off of the slab. The current drain runs to the main sewer line and is now longer allowed and any city for rain water run off.
