Okay, I hate to ask because I've been told before.  When I go the DMV for my first time ccw license, What sort of info am I supposed to bring?

Thanks, Homies!

When I got mine March 2012. I brought the form from the Sheriff's office, proof of residence, and photo ID. Things are in conflict now where you may need more info. You can call or stop by the DoR for the correct list.

The form the sheriff gives you plus your ID and  money to pay for new ccw card. That's all I needed.

EVERYTHING CHANGED EARLIER THIS YEAR!!!

You need ALL of the following:

- You current DL
- Birth certificate OR passport
- Utility bill with current address
- CCW Paperwork from Sheriff

DO NOT assume the CCW paperwork with your address on it will suffice.

It is a huge pain in the ass.

Plus what ever you bring they will scan and send off to their database company.

I thought the state had stopped that.  I intend to put on a "Wal-Mart, white trash show" if they try!

Edit: I just called and they said they will scan...

Yep. They're scanning everything, even documents to get a driver's license.

There's an injunction in one county, and I can't remember which.  It's not a statewide ban on scanning and transmission.

Man, how many terms will Obama need to rid us of these fascist Busch tactics?

I'm all mad and junk...  So what do you think?  Just bite the pillow and take it?

That is up to you. Do you have deep enough pockets to fight it? If so, find a lawyer in your area who will take the case. You will not receive your Missouri CCW unless you submit (it sucks donkey balls).

Our lovely attorney general has not expanded the injunction to include the whole state.

Shoot, I can't even afford pockets!  I guess I was hoping it would get stopped sooner, if at all.  The way it was explained to me they're doing it for regular drivers license renewals too.  I guess when it comes down to it, they surely already have a file on me anyway.  I just get worn out by all this B.S. Now, where the heck is that certificate?
