this weekend I tried my hand with paracord for the first time
I ended up making a sick dog collar. I still have to learn how to properly tie up the ends and I could make it less sloppy.
the D ring is perfect for a grenade
( for   pics)
it took me quite a while, I basically made 2 bracelets into 1, and then doubled Accord so it was nice and thick.
I was bored and figured I would show you what I did with my boredom

How much cord did you use for the collar?

We did a bunch of them in blue and gold for my Son's cub scout den.  I'm thinking with 4 strands instead of 2 a pretty nice sling could be done up.

Im not sure how much cord I used, but it was a ton... I basically made the collar, but it was not sick enough or wide enough, so I essentially doubled up my cord and just a second collar over the first. I am sure if you knew what you were doing you could make the same collar with half as much rope

for me the ends are the hardest part to tie off
