Well I went to see what the availability of a Shield was at my favorite gun shop and found out they haven't seen one since they were originally offered back in April.
So I did what any red blooded American would do and walked out with a new Springfield XDs.....

I'm sorta waiting on my buddy to bite the bullet and buy one... Then I'll borrow it from him for a week or so to see how it works as my daily carry piece. That way if it doesn't work for me... I don't have to buy one. If the XDs doesn't work for me... I plan to try one of the Sub Compact sized 1911's I think. |
