I have a glock 21 and when I load a full mag and slap the mag in the slide releases and chamers a round. If I lightly insert a mag it wont release the slide or if I only have 12rd instead of 13rds in the mag it won't release the slide. I tried it with an empty mag and it doesn't release the slide. Only with a fully loaded 3rd mag the slide releases and I'm not really hitting that hard to seat the mag. Just curious if anyone else has had this happen or has any thoughts.
It's not a major problem but I tried it on my G19 and it doesn't release with a full mag no matter how hard you hit the bottom of the mag. |

Worked with my 20 if you flung the muzzle down as you slammed the full mag. Not as easy to do with the 19. Worked with my buddy's hk p30 too. If you want it to all the time start to bend the lock a little bit thewre it grabs the slide. You want to make it grab a little of the slide as possible but still have enough umph to not let it go accidently. It takes a little playing around with. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
