Anyone here have this membership or know anyone with it?

Does it have the same benefits as a normal Life membership? The only reason I ask, is that the NRA website does not go into detail about it and was thinking about getting it. $375.00 Vs. $1,000.00 is a huge difference. Kudos for the NRA for giving us disabled Vets  this discount.

"Distinguished" Life memberships are the same as regular Life memberships, but they're only available for diabled vets or anyone over age 65.

You can currently get a regular Life membership for $300 through the "friends & family" deal.  Go to the General Discussion board and look at the tacked thread.

Thanks for the info. I am a disabled Vet, so I qualify for it. I won't nitpick over $75, when I'm saving over $600.

That $75 could buy some ammo or go toward a gun.  I'd rather spend it on that!

BTW, the discounted price on regular life memberships is $700 any time from a recruiter, that $300 is only temporary on the friends and family deal.  Down from $400, then $600 years before that.  The $1000 deal is only really for those that want to do it on easy pay.
