BTW, I just did a 17 mile bike ride down Grants Trail this morning, not the same area as the attack but not that far away. And yes, as always I was carrying.... Our proud StL area future... |
| Kinda hard to draw on someone who knocks you off your bike and has multiple people surround you. Though really, I was pissed off enough last night because St. Louis County stops selling alcohol on midnight because..its a Sunday. I like the city better, backwards ass shit. Random assaults, flash mobs, its here, and its only gonna get worse if you ask me. |
Lets see 10-15 attackes, I have 15+1 and a spare 17... I may have to consider carrying a second spare 
Heres the deal, I don't see 10-15 people sneaking up on me, and I tend to avoid clusters of people in crowded areas, let alone out in the middle of a bike trail. What is the prosecutor going to say? Who cares? Your alive to hear it. Trust me, if you have 15 people charging you and they don't stop when you draw on them, they don't want to invite you out to dinner. I can easily say, even being 6'3" and 275lbs that 3+ people are going to make me fear for my life, let alone 10+. |

This crap is happening all across the US. Chicago on the upper west side. Wisconsin fair. They groups doing meet and steal everything in the store thing going on. St Louis is just another in a long line.
I hope they try it with the wrong guy or better yet some 4' 10" chick and she whips out pistol and cuts em down. I'd take the day off work just to go protest outside the courthouse when the DA goes after her. |

After all, it looks like fun, or so goes the rationale. While I would not want it to come to this, I think it will continue happening until some kids start getting shot. We will not be going there again. Over priced, high crime and unfriendly people. Cozumel is far better place and cost a heck of a lot less. We figure we will be in Coz again next fall. When is your next trip down? Oh yeah, Hawaii doesn't recognize Missouri CCW permits so I was unarmed while there. Needless to say I wasn't happy about that. |
