Hey MO htf gents, I'm attending a concert at arrowhead this weekend. I need a briefing on your state's and/or the stadium's policy on ccw.  Do they typically search orpat down people, or have metal detectors?

Thanks in advance.

I also carry a benchmade folding knife on me everywhere I go. I would hate to have to toss it to get into a concert.  ;)

I think MO statute does not allow carry at large sporting events. I have no idea if there will be metal detectors. Best bet is to carry 10mL of Anectine. Based on your username, you probably know how to use it.

Some good (and bad) info in the Busch Stadium thread;

If it's normal arrowheadcontract staff at gates they will pat u down around the waist. On contrast staple center in downtown kc will wand the fuck out of ya. I ankle a 357 into arrowhead but only because it's a long drive to there and I dont feel comfortable leaving it in my vehicle.  The flat out law is that it is a no go. At the staple center they wand good enough that they hit on my steel toe boots but they never made me raise my pant leg or pat down. In places I absolutely cannot carry I pack a nylon shank in my boot. Events at arrowhead usually include a large police force in the area too - relatively safe there. Enjoy - it's a pretty nice stadium.

I have often considered the use of Sucs (or any other paralyzing agent) to be one of the shortest, most cruel deaths possible. Sucs is especially good because it lacks any sedating effects, just a complete paralysis. A slow, agonizing affixation

So, it's better on a date than a chloroform soaked handkerchief?  Besides the sticky needle part, right?

Just to update, the Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown concert was awesome.  There were no metal detectors, wands, pat downs, or searches.  I wore my 2 edc knives and left the piece at the hotel.  Traffic was a bitch on the interstate so we used the nav and took the back way to the "power and light" district (where we were staying).  During the detour through the "back way" I questioned my decision to leave the piece in the hotel room MANY times.

All ended well though.  We made it back to our hotel in one piece.  The hotel caught on fire about an hour later and we got to see KCFD's finest do what they do.  It was an interesting weekend.
