I don't care how much you trust them, or how much you have trained them, NEVER let your monkey play with your loaded gun!  Nothing good can come of it.

You have to go to Africa to really experience the gun culture. Soldiers may be armed but their governments are so poor that not all soldiers have cartridges for their rifles. Of course, that does not matter, and their gun handling skills are as bad as the ghetto rats we have here.

A soldier decided to join a group of us in the back of an open lorry. He jumps up on the tire while slinging his SKS over the side and works his way in while the gun is sweeping all of us. Some were about to grab the muzzle to control it when we yelled No!  We didn't need that misunderstanding......

We were already in trouble because a pastor took a picture of one of the soldiers (which is a big no-no).

Fortunately it all worked out in the end.
