sometimes the weird stories you do in the first hour seem like a laundry list of GD topics. Anyway I think you should give up your screen name. And I run a certain restaurant downtown(that you like), and I want to donate a raffle item to the wounded soldier auction you talked about on tuesday. |

His Halloween Specials are the BEST!!! Listened to him every night on the way home from work and he's great. One of the few things I miss about the STL. I love it when he fills in for Beck occasionally because it reminds me of some of the good memories of when I lived up that way.

I don't think he is here simply for the fact that if he was, he would realize that
his favorite gun shop is absolutely not the place for a good deal. When he has his gun shop buddy on, I cringe at some of the "information/advice" he gives people. Not that I expect a dealer to know everything but damn..... |

Jeez, you people that don't get it, Do you ever listen to conservative talk radio in St. Louis at around 4pm? Hell, its the only Conservative talk that happens on the FM dial here in STL, minus when Woody called Olbermann a Liberal Douchebag, that had me rolling..
I get it. I'm not completely sure he would be on here, he has said numerous times that he never really was a gun guy, but that he got robbed or something not too long ago, and that convinced him to start carrying.. There is a lot of stupid that goes on during his show when it comes to gun talk.. I love battle of the halfwits though

That being said, no way he's a member. He's pro RKBA, but he doesn't know much about guns. And even if he did stumble into GD, he'd probably think we were all a bunch of mouth breathing idiots. Besides, he doesn't seem like the type that would waste his free time posting on the interwebs. |

I have spent many afternoons wasting time in GD, then hearing some of the same things on his show. Yesterday, after they talked about the man killed by a cock, in a cock fight, I was pretty sure someone from the show at least trolled GD and picked up some funny topics. When I moved to St Louis I looked around the dial for a good afternoon show. My buddies pointed me at his show. Lord knows I tried to listen to him, for several months. I simply "don't get it.".

Well, I never claimed to have a high class sense of humor. Just out of curiosity, who do you find humorous (TV, radio, etc.)? I'd like to get a read for what type of humor is acceptable to old fart engineers.

Well, I never claimed to have a high class sense of humor. Just out of curiosity, who do you find humorous (TV, radio, etc.)? I am glad we got this out of the way Meh, I drive from service call to service call, and when I'm on the road I like some entertainment.. Sometimes hearing the same story a hundred times over from the rest of the people on the radio gets a little old, Glover's show is a nice little retreat from the rest of the day. Plus I love all the things that he does for Service Members, especially the Marines
