Anyone play it??? New one comes out tonight at Midnight!!! I just started playing COD Modern Warefare 4 as I was able to pick it up for 10 bucks.... |

Laugh about that 2600 all you want...first time i ever stayed up all night was due to a 2600 loaded w/ asteroids around 78-79. Thats about the same time my legos and everything else in my room started collecting dust due to the 2600. And it was alot more fun than my ti-99 4a that i got next . Although i did learn how to program on the ti-99 4a(brain cramps @ age 11) it was a headache...
anyone remember backing up to a casette tape that sounded like a fax machine back in the day? I still laugh about getting 8k of memory upgrade on one of my early computers.... Back to the topic though, i've got COD4 but haven't loaded it yet....i'm triing to finish Dragon Age first.... |

I remember it well... I typed what seems like a 100 plus lines of code to see Mr. Bo Jangles (Block man, not even ansi) dance across the screen... Shwing my age too I guess, I remember each step of the way, Com 64, Apple 2e, My Ti-994A with Speech Synthisizer, tape back up, modem and mem upgrades Then...... my (I guess it was an) 8088 1st intel box a few years before my 286... The 8088 had a 20 MB Hard Card, which came before the Hard Drive.... Back on topic, waiting impatiently for midnight to pick up my COD Black Ops... I did not think there would be a huge following here, but I figured there would be a few more... |
I'll be picking mine up tomorrow. I'm not motivated enough to be at the store at midnight....

I got mine last night, but I've not got to play it yet... I was at the Gamestop by me at like 11:30pm and was 115th in line... I did not get outta there till like 1:30 as they had Credit Card machine and POS issues... By the time I got home I had to crash to get up this morn... If I woulda put in the game, I'd have played till 5am... |

I may add ya tonight if I get to play... I gotta work a midnight to 6am shift... I played for hours last night, 1st several hours were playing Single player Campaign mode... Pretty cool... I got about 8-9 Levels in I think... The I started Multi-player, I though single player would be good practice, to learn the game and warm up.... mmmmm Not so much.... Much to my shagrin, I got spanked by all the 12 year olds.... I may need some coaching as I'm not real into gaming, but this does look fun so far... Issues I'm having 1. I shoot them 30 times, no kill, they shoot 2-3 times I drop like Hot Rocks... 2. No matter how fast or slow I go, every 20 seconds, some sh!thead gets me from behind.... 3. I can deal with the explosive little ""Inbound Enemy RC" that keeps rollin around blowin folks up, but that damn Cobra Helicopter with the Mini-Gun... It camps over the respawn area and gets me and looks like others 5+ times in a row... |
