It appears that someone else has killed themselves at the range I usually go to. For people around the KC area this happened today at the Bullet Hole. Yes I know it is in Overland Park but it is the closest range to me. This is the 4th or 5th time i've heard of this happening there. Kinda makes it creepy to shoot there. WTF is wrong with people. If your going to off yourself fine, just do it in private places so that you don't fuck up other people's lives.

I remember the first two. It was a pain in the @ss to rent pistols or buy range ammo if you were not a member after that. I think it was around 1994 when two separate people rented pistols and then shot themselves within a week of each other. I hope there are no copycats. |
What I most want to know is, what caliber was used?
I remember the first wave of selfish life-chickens who rented BH guns to off themselves. First kid was a student-visa visitor who was too scared to go back home after failing college here in the States. He used a .38 Special IIRC. IIRC the second guy also used a .38 but botched the job a bit. But IIRC the 3rd guy did it right with a .44Mag! A while after it happened I asked the guys at the BH if they were going to "notch the stocks" when they got the gun back.
I am not PC, and in the immortal words of Beltfed, "don't give a shit", so you won't find me crying for suiciders. |

My step brother suck started a shotgun when we were both 18. That said if you can't hack it and want to check out under your own terms better you go alone than take a bunch of people with you. When young people off themselves its sad, but when you hit 30 or so if you are just not cutting it and want out. Well I am not stopping you. Make it funny though how about. |

Like guys refusing to admitt to wacking off. I am sure that we all have at one time or another have had a low point in our lifes. And have considered offing ourselves. First I think that using a firearm is a very messy way of doing it. At least OD does not make a mess. I dont think a person who cant go through with it a pussy. Actually not going through with it is a sign of a person who understands that this is just a temp thing. That it just needs time to be worked out. And they have a responsibility to family and friends. That they are needed, no matter how low they feel at the time. Maybe there is just something about their lifes that needs some work.
I have been there several times in my life. I am my own worse enemy. Cause no one knows my short comings like I do. And no one can cut me down like I can. So, my advise to anyone who is down. Use the time as a positive growth time. A time to reflect on yourself and what you want to change about your life. to my distractions. Fuck you |
