Some guys I work with went Monday and Tuesday on the Lake of the Ozarks. 4 of them on the boat and they limited out both days. They had 3 fish that were 60+ lbs. with the rest 35 to 45 lbs.
I've been a couple of times with them. It is fun...as long as you're catching fish...but isn't that fishing in general?.

Never understood it....
Is it like trolling with treble hooks? I know the fish don't eat regular shit/stuff. How do you locate them and know they are down there? Fish finder? I can catch the sh!t out of crappie and channel cat but no idea on the ancient paddlefish. |

That's kinda the way it goes. Except you're holding onto as stiff rod and yanking the rod tip up and down everytime youre heavy tackle hits the bottom. It's actyually a lot of "fun", yet hard work. We typically use about a 16ounce sinker at the bottom with 2-3 treble hooks about 18-24" apart and locate them with a fish finder. Anyway, we're going today and tomorrow on Lake Ozark near Warsaw,before the snow comes back this weekend. I hope they're "biting" good. This was a good day, (below)!
