Hi, guys.

I would like some opinions and recommendations for a cheap upper.  I've seen the DSA for $265/$275 - no BCG.  Del-Ton complete, $395.  And the last one I know of is a DPMS ORC for $399 (I'm not real thrilled about the ORC to be honest).  Are there any others I should look at?  Are the other two crap?  This upper will be going on a light weight plinker fo my wife.  I want a LW or M4 profile.

Thanks for your time.

Phil

For a high quality upper I'd recomend the one at the top of page 14 of the Missouri equipment exchange.

But seriously, if it were me, between those three, I think I'd go with the DSA.  But that is just my opinion simply because I've never had an issue with anything I've gotten from them.

Try the EE almost anything will do for a plinker.

I just got a DSA off of ds762, member here for a fair sum with a BCG.  I shot it this weekend as planned and it ran good.  No real accuracy report yet, due to switching between a cheepy red-dot and a 4x scope.  I'm now trying to decide on a rear sight and an optic of some sort......

BTW, thanks again, ds762, I love the upper.  Much lighter than the other one I have.

Thats what I would do.

If not, The Del Ton is the best quality AR parts I've seen FOR THE PRICE. I got one and love it.

Spikes Tactical is running a special on their M4LE uppers for $475.  This includes BCG, Charging handle and a ST-T2 buffer.
