Jason's shop is his garage. So that's a home number. Just spoke to him a few minutes ago. Phone number is good, you might try again. His call waiting is messed up so that's probably why he didn't pick-up.

Jason and I have several joint projects going on all the time. To date we've 3 Colt 1911s. The first one he did almost everything. The next two were joint projects. With work being shared between us. Actually the last one needed a chain linked front strap. It was sent to Peoria, Il to MD Custom machine for CNC Machining. Jason did a " Blaster " shot gun for my Dad. Dad calls it his  " Weapon of Mass Destruction." Currently we are working on a Browning Hi-Power and a Colt Officers that we have bobtailed. Jason, I met working the help desk @ Graf and Sons. Jason was the go to guy for just about any technical question you had.... Don't take me wrong. Willy's a top notch go to guy at Graf's and I depend on Willy a lot for reload information.  But the day Jason left Graf's to start his own business. They lost an asset. Through the projects I've come to know Jason as a good friend. If you are in need of a good Gun Smith in Central Missouri, or in any corner of the world. I highly recommend Jason. He's as fine a fellow that ever picked up a gun to work on or pull up a pair of boot straps I've met.

Here's some of the latest photos of Jason's machine work... Someone told me I couldn't or didn't have any business attempting a trigger job on a Hi-Power. That person was right. But..... being from the Sho-Me State. ... That's the wrong thng to say to a Mule-Headed Missourian. .. . Because we will " Sho-Ya ". So I started to work on the trigger. Over many nights of scratching my head and a few ruined parts. I struggled through with the help of my trusty Diet Mountain Dew and persisted through to a succesful trigger job. I called Jason up one day and described what I did.   There was a pause and then the inevitable question. What the hell are you doing a Hi-Power for ?? . What, you think I'm nuts ? You sound like your calling me nuts., I said. Jason responds. Well I'm just concerned. Your head must hurt as result of your fall.. Thats not a 1911 ! So I told him the story and his interests start to peak as I tell the story.. which is still to find a conclusion. If you've got a " pet project " you've always dreamed of doing. Jason's your guy. These are some pictures of his machine work.

Here's the link behind the story.http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=39&t=71705&page=1
The fellow who first told me the Hi-Power story that I refer to in the beginning is Carl at Powder Horn. No matter what gun your looking at Carl has a story behind it. Those of you who know Carl, know well of his knowledge and that clever smile he gives while telling it. The two Hi-Powers still under glass at Powder Horn are the reason Carl told the story and are a part of this pistol's story.

Yeah I just have a rock island 1911 and decided to have a new trigger and hammer installed and maybe have the feed ramp polished.  Hopefully Jason can help me out with this.

I've never had to use Jason but I have heard good things about him.

I have his card in my desk in case the need arises.
