I should or should not build a 6.8
I have 2 lowers on the way that will need to be built. I already have a Sig 556.,My son has a AR15 in 5.56 and I think I want something a bit bigger for roadgoats Now one build is for the wifee and the other is for me. I am thinking the first build will be in 6.8spc-see how the wife likes shootin it to decide on the second build. Any thoughts on this? |

Well you CAN do both on well both...
Pull two pins, Swap Upper and Mag and it is a different caliber... This is one of the superior things about the AR platform... You REALLY Can have ALL in one. 5.56 is the native... 6.8 can be had 6.5 can also be had 17 remington 222 remington 7.62x39 300 Whisper 22 LR 9mm 45 ACP 10mm 458 Socom 450 Bushmaster 50 AE 40 S&W 5.7 FN .50 Beowulf .50 BMG... I can't recall all of the available calibers but damned if that isn't a good start! |
