I've often considered the benefits of the night-walker lifestyle.
At a minimum I would need to re-equip my rifles with NVG for range trips and invest in some SPF2000 sunblock (handy for Judgment Day too). The extended lifespan aspect would be nice as I could spread out the payments on stuff over a longer period of time.  However the neighbors might not appreciate me mowing my grass at night.
The whole blood-sucking thing will be tricky. Do you just drink 'til the well is dry and then have to dispose of the bodies? Or do you just drink a little, let them recover and hope they will not turn as well? Congress might make a nice feeding pool and really, who would miss them?  Is the transmission of human disease an issue for vampires? Sure would hate to suck a neck and teh aids. Does any one kind of blood taste better or worse than another? Hmm, I might finally have to try that English blood pudding stuff.
And the women are kinda hawt!! Sure hope they don't get too toothy during sex though.
