Because they register them as Commercial vehicles and state law says that Commerical vehicles only get one plate.

Look at the 12,000 ––-  18,000 or 24,000 on the plate

It all depends on how it is registered

But now Missouri NEW plates don't have that info on them

Exactly. They only get one plate which is to be afixed to the front of the truck since they usually pull trailers which would block the plate on the rear. Man, we are all learning something today.

I havent borke the virginity of my wifes car and mounted the front plate yet.  In my experiences its not easy to verify that a car has 2 plates when driving,  Not noticable if being tailed and since I live near a military base there are bunches of cars with only one plate so noone pays attn to a missing front plate.  If I do get cited for it...oppss the damd zip ties must not have held.

I can't believe that an LEO in Pulaski County hasn't gotten you on that yet.  That seems to be one of their favorite reasons for stops.  Especially Waynesville & St. Robert PD's.  Give them time, they will notice.

Also, Missouri also now requires that the Plate be SECURELY affixed!
